Feeling Mentally Exhausted in the Heat — How Do You Cope?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to open a conversation because this heat has been hitting harder than I expected. When you already live with anxiety, low mood, burnout, or any kind of mental health vulnerability, extreme temperatures can make everything feel heavier — literally and emotionally.

For me, the heat brings a mix of irritability, fatigue, and that strange “foggy” feeling where even simple tasks feel overwhelming. I know I’m not the only one, so I thought it might help to share what’s going on and hear how others are navigating it.

Here are a few things I’ve been trying:

- Cooling routines — short lukewarm showers, cold compresses on the wrists, staying near a fan, keeping curtains closed during the day.

Pylones and the Joy of Playful Painting Objects - Collection Palette

Art doesn’t only live in museums — it lives on our tables, in our kitchens, on our desks.

This is something the French brand Pylones understands deeply. Their whimsical, color‑splashed objects transform ordinary moments into tiny creative rituals, reminding us that beauty and imagination can be part of daily life.

As an art therapist and creative facilitator, I’m always searching for ways to help people reconnect with their inner artist. Sometimes that reconnection begins not with a canvas, but with a simple object that sparks joy — a brushstroke‑patterned tray, a palette‑shaped cutting board, a vase that looks like a burst of color.

Why Pylones Fits the Spirit of Creative Well‑Being

- Everyday creativity — Their objects invite playfulness without pressure. You don’t need to “be an artist” to enjoy them.
